Can I bring a date?

As most of you know, we're quiet people and this is why we have decided to share our day with our close friends and family. Please check your invite envelope for those invited.

What should I wear?

Formal where possible. Although it's an outdoor ceremony, every effort has been made to ensure the weather won't dampen the day.

Do I need to stay in a hotel?

Whilst this is up to personal choice, we have suggestions above so you're not rushing home in the little hours!

Can we bring our children?

We hope you will understand our decision to make our wedding adult only, giving everyone a chance to let your hair down and celebrate in style!

Is there a gift list?

The biggest gift to us is your support and presence at our wedding. Please do not feel obligated to give anything else. For those who have expressed an interest in offering a gift, we are very much looking forward to our honeymoon and any contribution will be sincerely appreciated.

Is it far from the ceremony to reception?

The journey from Dunluce castle to Galgorm will take you about 40 minutes by car.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our reception will be outdoors, however if the weather is not in our favour we have a stretch tent that will still allow our ceremony to go ahead.

When will I be able to pick my menu choices?

You should have recieved your RSVP card which has our two menu choices. Please use the included envelope to post these back to us no later than March 15th.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

There is a section included on the RSVP card where any dietary requirements can be noted and passed onto the venue. We will get back to you before the big day to confirm the vegetarian/vegan option.

Where should I Park?

Please park at the castle car park as best you can. The farmers yard will also be open to park in. This is also where you will be taken to you seats country style. Please arrive early to allow time to get to the ceremony.

Is there an evening party?

We wanted our wedding day to be a relaxed occasion for all our guests. Whilst we do not have a band, there will be music playing throughout the venue and encourage you to enjoy the evening with us. As the evening goes on our guests are also able to use the McKendry's Lounge located in the main hotel just behind reception.
